The state DOT will hold a public information meeting on Tuesday about plans to resurface about 1.3 miles of State Route 17C from Arthur Avenue in the Village of Endicott to the Hooper Road ramp intersection in the Town of Union, Broome County. The meeting, which will have an open house format, is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Town of Union Offices on East Main Street in Endwell. DOT representatives will be available to discuss and answer questions. The project, scheduled for the 2020 construction season, also will construct a sidewalk on the eastbound side of Route 17C between Kent Avenue and the Hooper Road interchange. Additionally, Route 17 C — which has two travel lanes in each direction — will be changed to a three-lane configuration from State Route 26 to North Street.
