A political announcement in Vestal last night…Town Supervisor John Schaffer announced he is running for re-election. In a statement, he said that during the past 7 years, business has increased and flourished in the town. The Democrat added that his record shows that town taxes have been kept at or below the state mandate, which provided additional income for private homeowners and companies operating within the town.
