Authorities responded to the scene of a fire on Front Street in Vestal Wednesday night. The fire started in the kitchen of one apartment in a 3 apartment building. The fire was put out around 7 p.m. One person was in the apartment when the fire began, and got out safely. Vestal Police and Fire both responded to the scene.
