Broome County officials have released more information on Tuesday evening’s fatal accident in Colesville. The investigation determined that a GMC pickup truck was travelling west on Colesville Road, when a Subaru entered the intersection for an unknown reason and was struck by the pickup. The pickup hit the car in the driver’s side, causing it to roll over. The pickup had the right of way. The driver of the Subaru, 56-year-old Edson Kitchen and his wife 54-year-old Mary Kitchen, both from Bainbridge, were pronounced dead at the scene. The pickup driver, 42-year-old Christopher Condon, of Binghamton, suffered minor injuries and was treated and released at Lourdes Hospital.
