Congressman Josh Riley is calling for the CEO of NYSEG’s parent company to testify under oath.
Riley is accusing NYSEG of posting a misleading video to Facebook about the company’s American roots. The congressman said NYSEG is fully and completely owned by Iberdrola, which is based in Spain.
Riley has been leading an investigation into NYSEG’s rates since the beginning of this year.
He is planning on filing a motion in court to force Iberdrola’s CEO to testify in the United States.
