Delta Airlines has restored daily service between the Greater Binghamton Airport and Detroit.

A 70-seat plane will fly from Binghamton to Detroit each day. The first flight will head out on Thursday.

It was announced in December that Delta was discontinuing its flights from Binghamton, but local, county and state officials worked to restore the service.

Gov. Kathy Hochul announced in January that a deal had been reached to keep Delta flying out of Binghamton.
