FedEx will be closing its Binghamton shipping center later this year.
According to WBNG-TV, the facility on Link Drive will close its doors at the end of June.
Team members were notified of the closure several months in advance. Some members will be offered other roles within the company.
The FedEx Ground location on the Industrial Parkway will remain open.
There is no word on how many employees will be impacted by the closure.
