A house in Campville was destroyed by a fire on Friday afternoon.
The fire broke out at around 4 p.m. on Cafferty Hill Road.
Firefighters from Campville, Southside, Owego, Apalachin, Newark Valley, Candor, West Corners and Vestal responded to the scene.
The home was deemed a total loss. The homeowner was not at the house when the fire started.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
