Firefighters responded to a fire at Upstate Shredding in Owego on Friday night.
The fire was called in at around 8:19 p.m. on Friday with a Tioga County Sheriff’s Deputy reporting visible flames coming from the back side of the shredder.
No injuries were reported from the incident.
This was the second fire at Upstate Shredding in just over a week. The first occurred on Thursday, Oct. 30 and resulted in the death of an employee and injured two firefighters.
