Former WEBO announcer and Owego music teacher Joe Bloomer has passed away.
Bloomer worked for WEBO back when the station worked out of the Owego Treadway Inn.
He was a music teacher at Owego Free Academy, where he retired after many years of dedicated service.
Funeral services are set for Friday at Estey, Munroe and Fahey Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. with the funeral to start at 3.
