The Greater Binghamton Airport has canceled its CAF Fly-In event which was set for this week.
According to airport officials, the B-29 Bomber FiFi and other aircrafts will not be coming to the Binghamton for tours this year.
The cancellation is reportedly a result of urgent maintenance issues.
There is no reschedule date at this time.

On behalf of the Commemorative Air Force and the BGM staff, we regret to inform you the upcoming CAF Fly-In Event at BGM has been cancelled due urgent maintenance issues. To reiterate, the B-29 Bomber “Fi Fi” and associated aircraft will not be coming to BGM June 2nd or 3rd. There is no reschedule date, and the CAF apologizes for this surprise cancellation. For those of you that are not familiar with antique airplanes, the aircraft must be in 100% working order to fly. No risks are taken for any event and Safety is the CAF’s number one priority. Thank you for understanding and hopefully CAF can return to BGM next year!
