New York Gov. Kathy Hochul held her State of the State address on Tuesday.
Hochul focused on affordability, safety and accountability in her address.
The governor discussed her plans for universal child care, and free community college for adults 25 to 33.
Another proposal announced in the speech included protecting sensitive locations, including schools, hospitals and hospitals of worship from ICE agents without a judge’s order.
She also talked about banning homemade 3D-printed guns, which would make New York the first state in the country to enact that.
