Kraham re-elected as Binghamton mayor

Binghamton Mayor Jared Kraham was re-elected on Tuesday night.

The Republican received 4,592 votes or 54.1 percent as he beat out Democratic challenger Miles Burnett, who had 3,896 votes.

Republican Aaron Martin earned the win over Democrat Nick Libous in the race for Broome County Clerk. Martin won with 51.6 percent of the vote.

Incumbent Republican Mayor Martin Meaney is leading Democrat Christina Charuk by a 1,244 to 1,235 margin in the race for Johnson City Mayor.

Under New York State election law, an automatic recount is required if the margin of victory is 20 votes or less.
