A man will be sentenced to 17 years in prison following a guilty plea in Broome County Court last week.
According to the Broome County District Attorney’s Office, 30-year-old Karl Calhoun pleaded guilty to attempted rape and criminal possession of a weapon.
Calhoun attacked an acquaintance at a residence in Vestal in August.
The incident was caught on video surveillance.
Calhoun will be sentenced in January.
