The Owego Police Department and its Benevolent Association will host the annual Village Appreciation Night next weekend.
This year’s event is set for Friday, Oct. 17, and will run from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the fairgrounds, located on West Main Street in Owego.
The event was created following the pandemic to offer a free night out, and to thank the first responders and officials who work daily to keep the community safe.
Highlighted at the event is a bonfire, along with free food, games for children, trucks on display, prizes, a hot air balloon, fireworks, live music, hay wagon rides, and much more.
