The Owego Police Department is looking for assistance in identifying the driver and vehicle involved in a hit-and-run collision that caused injuries on Monday evening.
The incident occurred at around 8:40 pm on Monday. A dark colored, four-door BMW crossed the Court Street Bridge heading north. Upon entering the intersection with Front Street, the vehicle ran a red light and struck a four-door passenger vehicle, injuring the occupants.
The suspect in the BMW continued north on Court Street and North Avenue. The car lost some vehicle parts which are being processed by police.
