Skate Estate in Vestal has announced they will close their doors for good next month.
The popular skating rink and entertainment venue will shut down on Sunday, March 8 after 42 years in business.

“After 42 years, we are saddened to announce that we will officially close our doors on Sunday, March 8th, 2026. This rink has been more than a business—it’s been a home. A place where generations learned to skate, made friends, fell in love, and found community. As we prepare to close our doors, we want to thank every skater, family, staff member, and supporter who kept these wheels turning. You made this place unforgettable. Every glide, every laugh, every moment mattered.
If anyone would like to share a memory, please feel free to comment. From our staff to our community… thank you and we will miss all of our wonderful skaters.”
Williams Auto Group will be taking over the property at 3401 Vestal Road in Vestal.
