BINGHAMTON, N.Y. — St. Patrick’s Day celebrations brought crowds to the Ancient Order of Hibernians Hall on Binghamton’s West Side, where the public gathered for food, music, and Irish tradition.
The typically members-only club opened its doors to the community, serving Guinness along with a menu that included ham sandwiches, potato soup, and Irish coffee.
Live music was part of the festivities, with the band The Shambles performing throughout the evening.
The event also highlighted a strong sense of Irish heritage among attendees, with many celebrating family traditions tied to the holiday.
The Ancient Order of Hibernians will continue its community events this weekend, hosting a fundraiser Sunday to benefit the I Can Ride charity, which supports children with disabilities. The hall will be open from 2 to 6 p.m., with live music scheduled in the afternoon.
