A teenager was killed in a car accident involving a plow truck in Harpursville on Tuesday.
According to the New York State Police, the accident occurred at around 1:45 p.m. on Tuesday on State Route 79 near Still Road.
An investigation found that a 17-year-old male was driving a pickup truck when he hit a Town of Colesville plow truck.
The teenager was taken to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
The driver of the plow truck was not injured in the crash.
The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
