Tioga County 4-H giant pumpkin record broken

A Tioga County 4-H giant pumpkin record was set over the weekend.

Grayson Zorn broke the record with his champion homegrown 635-pound pumpkin. The giant pumpkin was sold on Sunday at the Iron Kettle Farm in Candor.

Grayson also won reserve champion with his second pumpkin at 281 pounds. Kyle Jantz grew a pair of large pumpkins, weighing in at 235 pounds and 181 pounds.

Raina Whittemore, the youngest member of the Giant Pumpkin Club, entered a 102-pound pumpkin.
