The Tioga County Legislature is seeking candidates for the soon to be open District 3 seat, which represents the southside of the Susquehanna River in Owego.
The resident selected will take over on January 1 and will serve through 2026. There will be an election in 2026 to determine the future of the District 3 seat.
The seat has been held by Barbara Roberts, who was elected as Tioga County’s next treasurer earlier this month.
Interested candidates can submit a resume to the Tioga County Legislative Office at the Ronald E. Dougherty County Office Building at 56 Main Street in Owego.
