The Tioga County Public Health Department will take part in the DEA’s National Prescription Drug Take Back Day this weekend.
The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday at the County Health and Human Services Building, located at 1062 State Route 38 in Owego.
Items approved for disposal will include medication tablets, capsules, patches and other solid forms of prescription drugs. They will also accept syringes and needles in a sealed sharps container.
No liquids or illegal drugs will be accepted.
