The Tioga County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of 33-year-old Justin Austin, of the 200 block of South Hill Road in Berkshire. He was charged with Criminal Possession of Stolen Property. Deputies said the arrest stems from an animal complaint in which a dog was left inside a vehicle, in front of 13 Mill Street in Berkshire, on an extremely cold night. After checking the vehicle’s plate information, it was discovered the plate was stolen. Austin is scheduled to appear in court Feb. 18th.
