The Candor Central School District was placed in a lockdown this morning due to a person having a mental health crisis.
The person, who was not associated with the school district, was seen behind the school which prompted the hold in place order.
The individual was apprehended by law enforcement and is currently in police custody.
According to the school district, the students were never in any danger during the incident.
The school district thanked law enforcement for their quick response.
