Thank you to everyone who came out to Wysox or Wellsboro yesterday to take part in meetings about the next steps in efforts to fight for better service from Frontier Communications, say state Reps Tina Pickett an Cliff Owlett.
At two meerings lat week, Pennsylvania Consumer Advocate Patrick Cicero and Pennsylvania Small Business Advocate NazAarah Sabree provided an update and outlined what comes next with regard to the formal complaint their agencies filed jointly with the Public Utility Commission in January.
That complaint against Commonwealth Telephone Company, LLC d/b/a Frontier Communications Commonwealth Telephone Company (Frontier Commonwealth) was filed after Rep. Tina Pickett and Cling Owlett received hundreds of complaints from customers over the last few months.
Staff from both agencies was also on hand to talk further with consumers about the problems they have faced, including extended service outages, extensive delays in making repairs, noise on the line which impairs the quality of the phone call, difficulty in reaching customer service and receiving satisfactory response and more.
