Several fire departments responded to a house fire in Nichols on Wednesday.
The fire broke out at around 6 am on Walnut Street.
There have been no injuries reported from the incident, but the house suffered heavy damage.
Firefighters from Nichols, Tioga Center, Owego, Windham, Athens Township and Southside responded to the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
