The New York State Sportswriters Association has announced its Flag Football All-State Teams and many local players were recognized.
In Class C, four Owego players were honored with Kylie Grippen making First Team Offense and Ashlyn Dalton making First Team Defense. Olivia Dodge earned Second Team Offense honors, while Bella Silvestri was part of the Second Team Defense.
Susquehanna Valley’s Gracie Wallace was named Second Team Defense. Waverly’s Addison Westbrook was selected to the Third Team Offense and Green’s Audra Doll was Third Team Defense.
In Class B, Union-Endicott’s Jade Taylor was named to the Second Team Defense, while Binghamton’s Remi Campbell was Third Team Offense and U-E’s Victoria Elliott was Fourth Team Offense.
