The Waverly Police are investigating the death of an adult male, found underneath the Route 220 overpass near Broad Street. The initial report to police was at 9:39 AM yesterday. The initial investigation has found that no foul play is involved. The person’s identity has not yet been released to the public. He is described as a 56-year-old local person. Waverly Police are being assisted by the Tioga County NY Coroner Office in the investigation.
