There was a tractor trailer accident on Route 17 eastbound on Tuesday at about 7AM. The crash occurred in Nichols, between exits 62 and 63. No injuries were reported, but the left lane and shoulder were shut down for several hours as the tractor trailer was extracted. The New York State Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
