On the Fourth of July, the Doris B. Scott Memorial bandshell in Hickories Park in Owego will be rededicated. Major funding for the bandshell was obtained by the late Senator Thomas Libous, the family of Doris B. Scott, and the Mildred Faulkner Truman Foundation. Following the rededication, there will be a concert by the Kirby band at 7:30PM, followed by a fireworks display. All of these events are free and open to the public.
