A Langhorn, Pennsylvania man is in the Tioga County Jail on $1 million bail for allegedly assaulting an Owego woman in her apartment Friday evening.
Owego police say 39-year-old Drew Robert Small unlawfully entered the victim’s apartment, choked and sexually assaulted her, and prevented her from calling for help.
Small tried to force the victim into a car along North Avenue but was confronted by a responding officer. He tried to flee but was arrested by a second officer.
Small was arraigned at the Tioga County Centralized Arraignment Court on the felonies of burglary in the second degree and third degree, and aggravated sexual abuse. He was also charged with misdemeanor unlawful imprisonment, with additional charges pending.
