Tonight at 7PM, the Tioga County Veterans’ Service is hosting a film and discussion on the epidemic of veteran suicide. The event will be held at the Owego Fire Training Facility on McMaster Street in Owego. There will be a special screening of the film documentary entitled “Project 22”. The film details two veterans, who attempted suicide, and their journey to raise awareness about the topic of veteran suicide. Following the viewing there will an open discussion on the topic. There will be counselors and veteran peer-to-peer facilitators on hand.
