The Town of Owego has scheduled a public hearing in early March to address a financial matter that concerns local taxpayers. The Board says the hearing will deal with the town’s plan to override the state mandated 2% property tax cap. The hearing is set for March 5th at 6:30 p.m. It will be held at the Town Hall located on State Route 434 in Apalachin. Any town resident is welcome to share a comment at that time.
