Spencer-Van Etten High School has opened a new food pantry that will serve students, their families and staff.
The food pantry, which is called The Hub, was made possible through grants from the Food Bank of the Southern Tier.
The pantry received $7,000 for food and $8,000 for equipment.
Spencer-Van Etten High School’s Youth Empowerment Support Services Club will provide volunteers for the pantry, which is located in the school’s library.
