The victim in Tuesday’s fatal crash on State Route 17 West in Owego has been identified as a 19-year-old Sayre resident.
According to the Tioga County Sheriff’s Office, Ian M. Mockler was killed when his vehicle crashed into a parked tractor trailer just after 1 a.m. on Tuesday morning.
The driver of the tractor-trailer was not injured in the accident.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
