The New York State Police conducted an underaged drinking operation in Tioga County on Sunday. 14 establishments in Apalachin, Owego, Candor, and Spencer were checked out. All of the establishments were in compliance. Underage and undercover agents are sent into retail establishments which sell alcohol and the State Police determines that store clerks are complying with the law prohibiting the sale of alcohol to minors.
