Tioga County has extended its burn ban which went into place on Oct. 31st.
The ban was put in place due to lack of rain and dry conditions throughout the region.
Residents should not burn trash or leaves. No outside activity which would allow flames or sparks to result in a fire are allowed during this ban.
The ban will now run through Saturday, Nov. 9th.
