The Tioga County Board of elections has released the results of its count of affidavits, absentee Ballots, and military ballots in the election for the 22nd Congressional District. Current Representative Claudia Tenney received 186 votes; challenger Anthony Brindisi received 173 votes. Brindisi currently leads by 3,120 votes with only Oneida and Chenango counties yet to complete their counts. The final counts are should be completed by end-of-day today. It is unlikely that Tenney will overcome Brindisi’s lead.
