Longtime Tioga County Sheriff Gary Howard received a major award from the New York State Sheriff’s Institute.
Howard was named the Sheriff Grover Cleveland award winner by the organization.
Howard just began is 48th year with the Tioga County Sheriff’s Office. He has served as sheriff since 2003 and was recently elected to his sixth term.
