Two men were arrested on drug charges following a vehicle search in Ithaca.
According to the New York State Police, 29-year-old Elmira resident Mark R. Waters and 29-year-old Brooklyn resident Khalid J. Husband were charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance in the first and third degrees.
State troopers and Tompkins County Sheriff’s Deputies approached a Dodge Durango in a parking lot in the City of Ithaca on Tuesday and interviewed Waters and Husband.
A K9 search of the vehicle was conducted and resulted in the discovery of approximately 10.5 ounces of cocaine.
The suspects were arraigned in Ithaca City Court.
