The Waverly Wolverines will take on the Tioga Tigers on Saturday night and the schools will honor our Veterans and Military members.
The rivalry contest will be a Veterans and Military Appreciation Game at Haggerty Field in Tioga Center.
The teams are asking all veterans and service members from both communities to join their respective teams prior to kickoff for recognition and the singing of the national anthem.
Donations will be accepted at both gates in lieu of ticket fees. Money raised will be donated to local veteran organizations in both communities.
Choice 102 will broadcast the Waverly-Tioga game with pregame coverage starting at 6:45 and kickoff set for 7 on 102.1 FM and the My Hometown Today app.
