The woman who was struck by a vehicle in Newfield earlier this month has passed away.
According to the New York State Police, 44-year-old Amber Rawn died Thursday after being hit by a car on Van Kirk Road in Newfield at around 10:30 p.m. on May 7.
Police said a 28-year-old Newfield man was driving south on Van Kirk Road when he allegedly failed to see a pedestrian in the roadway and struck her.
No charges have been filed at this time.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
