The Tioga Regional Career Technical Education Center is receiving a major funding boost.
New York Senators Chuck Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand both supported the Agricultural Appropriations Bill that will send over $800,000 to the education center.
The funds secured by the Senators will allow the Owego-Apalachin School District to expand their partnership with Broome-Tioga BOCES and transform the Owego Apalachin campus into a hub for workforce development.
This funding will provide local students with hands-on training in high-demand fields right here at home.
The Owego Apalachin School District thanked Senators Schumer and Gillibrand for their support of this funding.
