On Friday at about 1:30AM, the Ithaca Police Department responded to the Ithaca Commons for a report of a shooting. Arriving officers located a man that had been shot in the chest. The shooting was the result of an altercation that began inside a pizza parlor. The parties involved left the pizza shop and continued to argue. During the altercation one person was shot. The suspects then fled. The wounds are not believed to be life-threatening. One of the people involved in the altercation is a white male wearing blue jeans and a light-colored hooded sweatshirt.
