One person was killed after a bus crashed into a tree in Dryden on Wednesday.
According to the Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office, 63-year-old Kevin Welch of Cortland was killed when the bus crashed on West Lake Road near Chaffee Road at around 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
Four other passengers were injured in the accident. They were taken to the Cayuga Medical Center for treatment.
The driver of the bus was flown to the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre for their injuries.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
