VESTAL, N.Y. — A building on the Vestal Parkway was damaged Wednesday morning after being struck by a vehicle.
Police say the incident happened at a business on Vestal Parkway West when a tow truck experienced a winch failure while attempting to load a disabled vehicle.
The vehicle struck the garage area on the left side of the building, causing damage. The main portion of the business was not affected.
Officials say no one was inside the building or vehicle at the time of the incident.
Emergency crews, including police, fire officials, and code enforcement, responded to the scene.
