The Town of Owego will honor astronaut Doug Hurley in a ceremony today.
The town will formally recognize the installation of a commemorative sign at the base of Forest Hill Road honoring Hurley, who grew up on the road.
The ceremony will take place at 11 am today on Forest Hill Road and State Route 434.
The public is welcome to join in the celebration of this local hero for his remarkable achievements.
