Scholarship Challenge Round No. 4 to determine final team for champions round

FCCB Scholarship Challenge presented by Williams Toyota” Challenge is on a roll with Round No. 4 this Saturday to determine the final team that will compete against three other schools who won the previous rounds for the champtionship on March 11.

Recap of Week #1: We saw Grace Christian Academy defeat Wyalusing, Waverly, Sayre (blue team), and Sullivan County. Grace Christian advances to the finals on March 11th.

Recap of Week #2: We saw Spencer-Van Etten defeat Athens (silver team), then Spencer-Van Etten lost to Montrose. Then Notre Dame defeated Sayre (red team), and went on to defeat Montrose. Notre Dame now goes on to finals along with Grace Christian.

Recap of Week #3: Towanda defeated Elmira, then Canton. Northeast Bradford beat Horseheads, then in a very close neck-and-neck cross-county rivalry, Towanda beat Northeast Bradford by ONE QUESTION to secure their seat in the finals.

Preview of this Week #4: We welcome Waverly (white team), Athens (black team), Wellsboro, Tioga Central, and Newark Valley.

Week #5, March 4 will be Middle School Challenge featuring eight teams.
We’ll be back on the air this Saturday at 10:00 AM live from the Sayre Theater which is open to the public.  There is no charge to get in, and concessions are open (supporting the Bradford County Regional Arts Council).  If you’ve never been to Scholarship Challenge, or the Sayre Theater for that matter, we’d love to see you.
