The Steuben County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help to identify the alleged suspect in a recent armed bank robbery.
Deputies responded to an unnamed financial institution along Steuben Street in Addison around 10:41 a.m. Friday, where they say a man displayed a firearm and demanded over $4,000 dollars. He was last seen walking east along the Caninsteo River dyke toward the Main Street area.
Investigators describe the suspect as a Caucasian male with dark facial hair and shoulder length blond hair. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie, black pants and black/blue footwear.
The suspect was also seen in the area of Denison Parkway and Market Street in Corning that morning.
Also, a dark blue Dodge Caravan is a vehicle of interest. It was last seen traveling west on County Route 119.
