Athens Borough man convicted on drug charges

A jury found an Athens Borough man guilty of several drug charges in Bradford County Court last week.

According to court documents, 53-year-old David William Wright was convicted of felony manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver and possession of  a controlled substance.

Wright was arrested after he sold meth to a confidential informant at his home in Athens Borough last year.

The investigation was conducted by the Bradford County Drug Task Force and Pennsylvania State Police Vice and Narcotics Unit.
